All three types of recognition — automatic, level and specific recognition — have the same legal validity, but they do not all serve the same purposes. You should choose the one that best suits your objectives. If you only need recognition of the degree/level of the qualification you hold, for example a bachelor’s degree, you may choose automatic recognition or level recognition. If, in addition, you also wish to obtain recognition of the course/scientific area, for example a bachelor’s degree in biology, you should choose specific recognition.
