My degree / diploma does not appear on the automatic recognition list, but what I have is equivalent to one of them. Can I request automatic recognition?

No. Automatic recognition only applies to the degrees/diplomas included in this list. It must be exactly the degree listed there and cannot be “equivalent to…” or “comparable to…”.
